Whilst walking to adam's car for lunch i started thinking about how much we have in common. When adam remarked, "Banks are dicks." i agreed and decided to compile a list of things we have in common while eating lunch at the Polish National Home.
here it is:
we both think banks are dicks
we are both fast readers
we both like G'n'R
we both write blogs
we are both yankee fans
we both like beer
we both like the spigot
the above 3 seem to be points of the same triangle)
neither knew for sure if titty bars have happy hours
we like space ghost coast to coast
we both like joe barber
we both like calling the above joey babaganuoush
we both give mayor perez thumbs down
we both give meir rinde thumbs up
we live in hartford
we have both hooked up with trinity girls
we both really like the Polish National Home
and unlike State Rep John Fonfara, we both know who ken krayeske is!
after realizing how much we have in common, things got awkward and we paid the bill and returned to work.
i sit behind adam. i blog about him, the workday and anything else truly not important. why are you reading this stupid blog?

my original post
OK, so I solved the riddle. Big deal. I'm a smart guy. People value my opinion. I'm no dummy. I can do long division in my head. I can recite the Magna Carta (OK, not really, but I can totally make a pun on it about japanese comic books, and call it the manga carta).
Anyways, adam and I just got back from the great Polish National Home in downtown Hartford. The food, as always, was delicious. I got the usual; a polish plate (kielbasa, sauerkraut, perogis) plus two extra perogis. The only issue I have is how much of a bonehead food coma I've been in all afternoon.
Which is another way of saying I solved the riddle again today.

mom's riddle
ha! i keep looking behing me and seeing adam trying to figure out the riddle my mom sent me. he saw it whilst going to get water on my computer. i love the privacy here! please see an earlier post about his alleged water gathering here in the office.
ha! ha! it says he was going to get water on my computer...but not like that!
----- .This will Mess With Your Head....
3 MEN GO INTO A MOTEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30
SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.
A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25
SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.
ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.
THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.
WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?
SEND THIS TO 5 PEOPLE AND THE ANSWER WILL APPEAR ON YOUR SCREEN... IT'S CRAZY

Adam eats Nuts!
Slow news day.
One day last week Adam incorrectly identified some nuts!
I can't remember if they were actually almonds or incorrectly called almonds. This is a lame blog, so hopefully you had low expectations and are not dissappointed at my horrible story telling. For riveting story telling please check out www.sittingbehindwill.blogspot.com. Riveting!

Adam and his drinking in the office
No, not beer. I know he doesn’t drink beer in the office. All the beer bottles on his desk are unopened…and warm. No, I am speaking of water. And actually, its not his drinking, but his gathering of the stuff. In the kitchen we have a water machine with two spigots of water; cold and hot. Many of us retrieve water there. I do as well. I fill my big plastic cup from Yankee Stadium with yummy, refreshing cold water or make tea in my mug with the piping hot water. Also yummy. I like the China Green Tea leaf the best. It’s the closest tea I have found to Ichiban’s green tea, which I greatly enjoy with lunch.
Well, Adam often forsakes the wonderful water machine and opts for lower hanging fruit. When thirsty, he walks only half the distance and fills up his cup/bottle/sheepskin at the water fountain in the hallway (the one with all the smurfs on top driving cars and holding poop or something.) I am not saying this bothers me or that Adam must be a sick freak, I’m just saying I have noticed. That’s all.
I will also say i recently learned the above may not be true. Well, the stuff about me is true, but new evidence and conversation with the aforementioned adam suggests he actually walks all the way to the kitchen. I believe he actually jogs or all out runs once out of the back office. very sneaky.

My Man-date with Adam
Adam is a great dater! Wow! His girlfriend is soooooo lucky! Lucky i'm not gay nor a woman!!
Anyways, he was nice enough to drive us quickly to the Farmers' Market @ Billings Forge on Broad Street so i could buy a pie and some fresh chevre cheese. Yummy!

Next we flew over to Bushnell park to get some Thai Food on the Wheels. Yes, that is the name of one of the best Thai resturants in the area and yes; it is indeed...on the wheels. Ordering was funny as Adam ordered my favorite, panang curry with chicken. I did too, and also ordered us some spring rolls. Adam didn't take me up on my offer that is was ok with me to double dip. I did double dip.
We sat closely on a park bench at first, leaving half of it empty. It was a little wierd when I streached my arm out behind adam on the back of the bench, but we reveled in the awkwardness. We ate. We laughed. We soaked up some sunshine together.
Back in the office we sat down and began typing, checking messages and processing paperwork as we thought about our special time in the park.

Adam and Richard Simmons'
Today I saw a woman out the office window walking up the street who looked kinda like Richard Simmons due to her hair and outfit. I spoke up and Adam looked and agreed about her hair.
I asked if he was still alive and soon Adam was waxing poetic about Richard's life and how ironically he never looked too healthy. I agreed.
